How does scanning a label work?
Every WhatsYourCurve label carries a QR code tied to one specific batch. Point your phone camera at it and the batch page opens in your browser — no app install, no account. You see the product, the lab potency, and the Head & Body curves other people reported for that exact batch.
What's the difference between a batch-level curve and a strain review?
Strain ratings average across every grower, harvest, and year — two batches of the same strain can feel completely different. A WhatsYourCurve curve is built only from reviews of the batch in your hand, so it reflects what you actually bought, not the strain's reputation.
How do I record my own curve?
From the batch page, tap 'Record your curve' and drag two lines — green for head, blue for body — across a timeline sized to the product type. It takes under a minute, it's anonymous by design, and your curve immediately feeds the batch average.
How do producers get reviews for their batches?
Producers create a product, then a batch (lot) in the dashboard. Each batch gets a unique scan code and QR link to print on the label. Every consumer scan lands on that batch's curve page, and every submitted curve is tied to the lot — so feedback is precise, not averaged across the whole product line.
Is a curve medical or dosing advice?
No. A curve is descriptive — it shows what a community of reviewers reported experiencing, over time. It never tells you what to take or how much. The Danger Zone line is a harm-reduction cue, not a limit.
What happens when a lot only has one or two reviews?
Nothing gets presented as authoritative. Below the minimum sample size a lot shows a 'not enough reviews yet' state and the individual curves, rather than an average that a single outlier could dominate.
How does WhatsYourCurve handle compliance?
Labels are generated from compliance templates configured per jurisdiction — required warnings, potency, and batch identifiers are baked in, and adding a new state is a template change plus legal sign-off, not a code change. Curves stay descriptive precisely so they sit outside health-claim territory.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Everything runs in the mobile browser as a progressive web app. Scanning a QR code is already a phone action; adding an install step in front of it would only lose reviews.
Can my curves be filtered by tolerance?
Reviewers set a self-reported tolerance once. Tolerance-weighted views — seeing the average from people within range of your own — are on the roadmap right after the label and compliance release.
